& FOR LOVE is a bridal brand renowned for its dedication to authentic style, effortless cool and modern femininity. Founded in 2014 by longtime friends Angel Spendlove and Lisa Blunt with a collection of 12 pieces, the brand swiftly gained recognition with its inaugural presence at Kleinfeld Canada, establishing immediate brand legitimacy. Noteworthy for its effortless and laid back approach, & For Love captured attention and rapidly expanded its reach, now boasting a global network of stockists. The brand has been featured in British VOGUE, VOGUE Australia, Harpers Bazaar, BRIDES, Martha Stewart Weddings, The LANE, ELLE, and Hello May.
Raised in Sydney, Australia, designer and creative director Angel Spendlove views the brand through a global perspective, and focuses on pieces for modern women looking for a timeless yet rebellious approach to their bridal style. A former ballerina with English National Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet and Opera Atelier, Angel also hold a Bachelor Degree from OCAD University in Toronto, where she majored in Environmental Design and Architecture.
After years of travelling to the exotic far corners of the earth as a performer on a luxury cruise ship, Lisa took a sales executive role at FQ Magazine, spearheaded by the iconic Canadian fashion authority Jeanne Beker. Her sales experience dealing with luxury labels made her the perfect compliment to Angel’s creative vision and together they have forged a bridal brand that continues to push boundaries, defy expectations and reframe the definition of modern bridal.

From concept to creation, all production takes place in our studios in Canada. Together with our small team we work with care and love to make you the dress of your dreams. We believe in slow fashion and not mass production, ensuring each gown is made especially for you.
environmental impact
Globally, an estimated 92 million tonnes of textile waste is created each year.
We do our best to make sure we are not contributing to this problem, which is why all our gowns are made to order, meaning we don’t have piles of deadstock that would end up in a landfill. We also donate old samples and leftover fabric to arts organisations to be turned into sets and costumes for theatre.
With every dress sold we donate a tree to One Tree Planted, an organization that plants trees where they are most needed, so for every bride who has worn an & FOR LOVE gown there is a tree planted somewhere in the world in their honour, so you can look and feel good about your dress.
