Inspired by Shakesphere’s tragic tale of star crossed lovers, and taking cues from Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus”, the pleated gown is reminiscent of the Goddess’s seashell. JULIET features a fully structured basque waist bodice that provides a firm and flattering fit, while a hand pleated skirt made by 3rd generation master pleaters in New York creates a sense of grandeur and opulence. The floating ribbon straps can be worn effortlessly off the shoulder or on, or can be strapless, offering versatility and personalisation. Made in our newest dupioni fabric, this gown is lightweight , comfortable, and truly a work of art.
